COUNTY PARK — CPS defeated the Shockers 16-9 in B-1 men”s softball action Monday night at County Park.
Gary Wilcox, Mike Shaw and Phil Smoley had three hits apiece for CPS and Jonathon Bridges smacked a pair of triples. Winning pitcher Boone Bridges went the distance and helped his own cause with a single and a triple.
CPS improved to 2-2 while the Shockers fell to 3-2.
