On Thursday I called the Record-Bee attempting to find out where to go to get invasive mussel /prevention stickers for my boat. I was lucky that Mandy Feder answered the phone and my questions.
On Friday on page 3 of the Record-Bee there was a long all-inclusive listing of all screening/inspectors for invasive mussel prevention services in Lake County. Wow! That”s great public service.
Different subject, I”d like to express my gratitude to our new “gung ho” Sheriff Rivero on his relentless campaign to stamp out all the drug activity in Lake County.
He is more than likely to step on a few toes with all his enthusiasm. God bless him and his deputies with their work. Speaking for the silent majority, we”d all be better without all the drugs and accompanying criminal element. I also appreciate his efforts in making the outlaw motorcycle gangs feel unwelcome.
I hope our new DA Don Anderson will work with our new Sheriff and prosecute all the dope dealers to the full-extent of the law. If not the silent majority will make him a one-term DA.
