Now that the California budget is settled and the smoke and mirrors are packed away, I feel it is time for we the voters of California to reprimand those few legislators who robbed us of a chance to participate in the process.
While the sentiment on both sides was about even, a sound majority of the voters wanted to have the opportunity to approve or disapprove of the tax extensions that recently died. It really doesn”t matter what the vote might have been the people would have had an input. To deny that privilege; to the voters is, I feel, non-representative, immoral, and obscene.
