This letter is in response to a letter to the editor that appeared in the Record-Bee by Nelson Strasser.
There is no such thing as “consensus” in science. A theory is either proven or it is not.
Global warming has been so thoroughly de-bunked that it no longer bears discussion. The current mantra is “climate change.” Of course, the climate changes from day to day, from year to year, from century to century, and from millennia to millennia. The puny efforts of man to affect such change are beyond ridiculous..
When I was very young, I lived in a house that had only kerosene lamps for light. I don”t know about you, but I prefer electric lights. I also prefer riding in a comfortable car that does not give me the feeling that I am dragging my feet on the pavement.
When I visit my son in another state I prefer to make the trip in comfort, not cramped up into a tiny car that does not allow me to stretch my legs out or hold my head up straight.
A final note. Carbon dioxide is an element necessary for life on earth, not a pollutant. Don”t take my word for it. Ask any seventh grade science teacher.
