LAKEPORT — The Lake County Board of Supervisors (BOS) Tuesday acted on items that will help collect fees as well as sell bonds for a wastewater collection system.

The BOS authorized the collection of different fees and placed them on the 2011-12 tax roll.

Additionally the supervisors unanimously authorized the collection of lighting fees for County Service Area (CSA) No. 1. The service area consists of the utility district of Clearlake Keys.

The BOS unanimously authorized the collection of delinquent water fees in CSA Nos. 2, 6, 7, 13, 16, 18, 20, 21 and 22. The fee will affect the utility districts of Spring Valley, Finley, Bonanza Springs, Kono Tayee, Paradise Valley, Starview, Soda Bay, North Lakeport and Mount Hannah.

The BOS adjourned and reconvened as the Board of Directors for Kelseyville County Waterworks District No. 3 to unanimously authorize collecting and placing on the 2011-12 tax roll delinquent fees for services rendered.

The BOS again adjourned and reconvened as the Board of Directors of the Lake County Sanitation District (LACOSAN) to unanimously authorize collecting delinquent sewer fees.

The LACOSAN board also authorized issuing bonds to improve the county wastewater system. The BOS adjourned as LACOSAN board and then reconvened as the Board of Directors of the Lake County Public Financing Authority (LCPFA) to also authorize the issuance of the bonds.
