LAKE COUNTY — The Lake County Theatre Company presents “The Musical of Musicals, The Musical.” This play tells the same basic story five times in five mini-musicals, each mimicking the style of a famous composer.
The small cast of four local performers will entertain the audience with spoofs of “Oklahoma,” “Into the Woods,” “Mame,” “Evita,” “Chicago” and more.
“Musical of Musicals” opened last weekend with performances that took place at the Soper-Reese Community Theatre. The first weekend included a dinner performance at Sicily”s Restaurant in Lakeport.
Performances continue at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. July 24 at the Clearlake Oaks Grange. During the final weekend, performances take place at 7 p.m. July 29 and 30 and 2 p.m. July 31 at the Lower Lake Historic Schoolhouse Museum.
