Where”s the Democrats” plan?
So, Mike doesn”t approve of the “Cut, Cap and Balance” bill that Republican”s passed over in the House.
Sorry about that. Well, he”s a Democrat, after all.
Funny thing, though. I haven”t seen any alternative plan from the Dems. In fact, they haven”t even passed a budget in more than 800 days.
Even the last budget President Obama submitted was so nonsensical that even the Dem-led Senate had sense enough to reject it.
Now, as a 30-year Navy veteran, I”m hearing that even my less-than-magnificent retirement pay is being held hostage along with my meager Social Security check.
Admittedly, I probably shouldn”t have depended on the government to keep the promises they made to me all those years ago. However, the years have caught up with me and my age and physical condition prevent me from obtaining gainful employment, so I guess I will just have to let the bank take my house and depend on the local food bank for sustenance.
At least for the next few months sleeping on a park bench won”t be too bad.
Seems to me we need some adults in the halls of Congress.
I believe it was Mark Twain who once said, “There are two classes of people who spend other people”s money.
Children and politicians. Both require constant supervision.”
