SONOMA COUNTY — Friends and family continue to search for a girl who went missing from the Sonoma County area on July 8. Kasandra Rose Poshepny, 16, is thought to be in or around the Santa Rosa area, specifically near Olive Park. However, the girl”s aunt, Janine McKay, of Clearlake contacted Lake County Publishing on Friday in case her niece comes into the area.
Poshepny is described as being 5-feet 3-inches tall with long brown hair. McKay said her niece has naturally curly hair but straightens it on occasion.
According to the website, www.missingkasandrarosep.com, Poshepny lives with her father in Glen Ellen and goes to Sonoma Valley High School. Those searching for her think she may be with her boyfriend Robbie.
Anyone with information regarding the missing girl”s or her boyfriend”s whereabouts is urged to contact Officer Patrick at the Sonoma County Sheriff”s Office at 565-2867.
