LAKE COUNTY — Lake County”s rising teen rock band, “The Lost Boys,” has called it quits.
The band of boys played stadium shows, won multiple awards and recently made the top 60 finalists on the national television show, America”s Got Talent.
The band will perform together for the last time this weekend at the State Fair in Sacramento.
An announcement on the band”s official website states:
“On behalf of the band members, their families and band management, it is with great sadness that we officially announce the conclusion of a journey and the band … named The Lost Boys! The Lost Boys will be disbanding and going our separate ways effective immediately, with our final performances scheduled for 8 p.m., 9 p.m. and 10 p.m. on Saturday, July 30 at the California State Fair! We would like to thank our legions of family, friends and fans for their tremendous support during this incredible odyssey and hope that our paths will cross again, as life rolls on! Don”t be sad because it”s over … Be happy because we shared the journey. Thanks for the memories … we had the time of our lives!”
Future plans of the band”s members have not been disclosed at this time.
