CLEARLAKE — Clearlake Police Department (CPD) is seeking information related to a possible drive-by shooting that occurred at about 12:16 a.m. July 22 in the vicinity of Halika Street in Clearlake.
According to the CPD officers arrived on scene to locate a parked vehicle with numerous, apparent gunshots in the area of the 3500 block of Halika Street. The vehicle was unoccupied at time but was parked near several homes.
The CPD said during the investigation it was discovered the home was associated with a known Sure?o gang member. Police think that the shooting was possibly gang-related.
CPD said at this time there is minimal suspect information. Anyone with information is urged to contact Detective R. Peterson at 994-8251.
