LAKE COUNTY — A man was transported to the hospital with minor injuries after a solo-vehicle crash on Tuesday at 10 a.m.
Charles Williams, 77, of the Nice/Lucerne area, was traveling eastbound on Highway 20 near Garden Drive when for unknown reasons he exited the roadway in his 1993 Toyota T-100 pickup truck.
Williams struck a tree and as a result the truck overturned and went down an embankment.
Alcohol or drugs are not suspected as a contributing factor.
California Highway Patrol Officer Randy Forslund responded to the incident. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
