Kudos and thanks to the Soper-Reese Community Theatre and to New Vintage Productions on its production of William Shakespeare”s classic, Romeo and Juliet.
After attending last Sunday”s matinee of a fine performance, I urge those who have not obtained tickets for this coming weekend to do so.
Though I could showcase many aspects of this performance, I should like to especially alert theater attendees to three specific highlights, that I felt were exemplary: the musical interludes between the acts that created the atmosphere; the imaginative set design that allowed for easy and fluid scene transitions and the wide variety of the actors ages.
What a wonderful chance this production is for adults and children to interact in a positive, creative and mutually-educational environment.
Congratulations to Lake County for showing the way that a community is fostered, nurtured and created. Huzzah!
