LAKEPORT — The Clear Lake High School varsity girls” soccer team will be hosting its 14th annual soccer camp for children 5-14 years old of all levels and genders. The camp opens Monday and runs through Thursday. Campers will meet from 9 a.m. to noon each day on the fields behind the gym at CLHS, 350 Lange St. in Lakeport.
The $60 registration fee includes a newly-designed camp T-shirt. A family discount of $5 per camper is available if two or more campers register from the same family.
Varsity coaches Alice Holmes and Paul Larrea will provide instruction. They will be assisted by guest coaches and members of the CLHS soccer team, many of whom have previous camp experience.
The camp will emphasize basic soccer skills, offensive/defensive play and team concepts. It will provide an opportunity for younger players to learn basic soccer skills. There will be various contests, individual awards, snacks and game-play each day.
