LAKE COUNTY — A man was arrested for driving under the influence (DUI) on Thursday following a single-vehicle rollover on Highway 20 east of Cache Creek.

David Mills, 58, of Vallejo suffered minor injuries in the incident.

According to California Highway Patrol Clear Lake area, at approximately 6:30 p.m. Mills was traveling westbound on Highway 20 in a 1992 Ford F-150 truck at an unknown speed. For unknown reasons,

Mills allowed the truck to drift off the north shoulder.

CHP said that Mills over-corrected, traveled across the highway and exited the south shoulder. The truck traveled down a steep embankment and overturned. The vehicle came to rest on its roof on top of a group of large boulders. Extrication was required to free Mills from the vehicle.

Mills was transported via air ambulance to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital for treatment of injuries prior to being arrested for DUI. Officer R. Jensen continues investigation into the incident.
