LAKEPORT — Just after the last Friday night concert in Lakeport at Library Park, a chain-reaction crash took place.
According to the Lakeport Police Department (LPD), at about 8:20 p.m. two vehicles were stopped allowing pedestrians to cross in a crosswalk near Bank of America on Main Street in Lakeport when a third vehicle rear-ended one car, pushing it into another.
A passenger in one of the vehicles was transported by ambulance to Sutter Lakeside Hospital with injuries related to neck and back pain, according to the LPD.
The vehicle that struck the other two sustained major damage, while the other two vehicles sustained minor-to-moderate damage.
