KELSEYVILLE — The Kelseyville Business Association will host its next “Kickin” in the Country” street dance, 7 to 10 p.m. today on Main Street.

The sponsors for this evening are Wildhurst Vineyards and Lake Family Resource Center.

Bill Noteman and the Rockets will lead a high-energy evening of rock and blues. The band got together 29 years ago and have been jamming together ever since. The musicians ? Bill Noteman, vocal and harmonica; Larry “Mojo” Platz, guitar; Dave Neft, keyboard; and Steve DuBois, drums ? put on shows that combine fast-paced jump, smooth melodies and the band”s own brand of blues. The band has opened shows for BB King, Steve Miller, Tower of Power, Tommy Castro and an ongoing list of all-star blues bands and headliners.

Kelseyville Business Association will again serve wine and ice cold beer. The KBA will highlight Wildhurst Wines for the evening. Myron and Marilyn Holdenried, owners of Wildhurst Vineyards have been producing quality, award winning wines for 20 years. They have graciously donated all sales that evening to the KBA.

There will also be a raffle again with donations from Serenity Day Spa, Kelseyville Pharmacy, Wildhurst Vineyards, Steele Wines, Sawshop Gallery Bistro, the Brick Tavern, Westamerica Bank, Kelseyville Food Center and Polestar Computers. Tickets cost $1 each, six for $5 or 12 for $10. All proceeds will go to the KBA for town beautification and maintenance.
