LOWER LAKE — California Highway Patrol are investigating a head-on collision that occurred at approximately 9 a.m. Thursday in the Lower Lake area.
One driver was transported to St. Helena Hospital Clear Lake with abrasions and complaints of pain. According to the CHP, Aguirre Fabian, 31, of Clearlake, was driving a 1994 Ford Mustang northbound on Perrini Road east of Siegler Canyon Road.
Fabian was allegedly driving at an unknown, unsafe speed. He attempted to negotiate a right curve and drifted into the southbound land where his vehicle collided head-on with a 1989 big rig driven by James Harbaugh, 67, of Piercy, who was not injured in the collision.
