The race is on. One by one contenders for the 2012 election are already coming forth and giving us a good look at each of them. Most will open mouth and insert foot on more than one occasion.
As we watch the potential candidates in the coming months, let us close our eyes and picture each of them in position on Jan. 20, 2013, with hand raised and pledging. Reminds me of an old country road sign that said, “Choose your ruts carefully; you”ll be in them in no time.”
