LAKEPORT — A Clearlake woman who had been reported missing in Lakeport Saturday was located Sunday night and found to be in good health, according to the Lakeport Police Department (LPD).
Marcia L. Wilson, 62, went to Quail Run Fitness Center in Lakeport with her son Saturday afternoon but walked away from the facility without notifying her son, the LPD said.
The LPD reported Wilson missing Saturday evening, sending out a press release with a recent photograph and physical description. Witnesses reportedly contacted the department Sunday night after spotting a woman matching Wilson”s description wandering in a field on Martin Street.
Officers responded and witnesses helped them locate Wilson, who reportedly had with her a grocery bag, a bottle of water and extra clothing. Wilson indicated she planned on staying the night in the field, according to the LPD.
Paramedics evaluated Wilson as a precautionary measure and found her to be in good health, the LPD said. She was then released to family members.
