CLEARLAKE OAKS — CAL FIRE and Station 75 from Clearlake Oaks responded to a wildland blaze on the western hillside of Crestview Drive, north of Mira Vista Road on the Gooseneck in Clearlake Park. Approximately eight to 10 acres burned, which was considered controlled about 40 minutes into the suppression effort. Response was requested at 2:16 p.m.; the fire was considered 50 percent contained at about 3:30 p.m. with a concern for rolling debris. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
