CLEARLAKE — An alleged member of the Norteno criminal street gang was arrested Saturday following a probation search at his Beaver Way residence in Clearlake. Darcy Rodgriquez, 26, was arrested for being a prohibited person in possession of a firearm and ammunition.
According to Clearlake Police Sgt. T. Hobbs, officers responded to Rodriguez”s residence at approximately 11:30 a.m. to conduct a probation search. During search of his bedroom officers allegedly discovered a loaded Glock 9 mm. handgun and ammunition.
Rodriguez was booked into Lake County Jail.
The Clearlake Police Department urges anyone with information regarding other gang members in possession of firearms to contact the department at 994-8251.
