LOWER LAKE — Drivers of two vehicles involved in a traffic collision around 4:13 p.m. Wednesday were transported to St. Helena Hospital Clear Lake with minor injuries. According to California Highway Patrol Officer A. Garcia, Kevin Engle, 53, of Lower Lake was traveling northbound on Highway 53 in Lower Lake when he attempted to make a left-hand turn into the Tower Mart parking lot. Engle”s Volvo sedan then collided with a Mercury sedan driven by June Woodard, 78, of Clearlake, who was traveling southbound on Highway 53. Woodard”s infant passenger was not injured. The collision remains under the investigation of the CHP.
