I loved the front page pictures on Wednesday from the top of Mount Konocti!
It is a beautiful place from what the pictures show. But did all those 90 folks hike to the top carrying their wine and glasses for the photos?
At age 81, I have longed to go to the top of that mountain for a very long time. And now the county owns it and I understand that the only way to get to the top is to have permission and hike a very steep trail. My family insists that at my age I shouldn”t try the hike.
Is there any way for the rest of us to get to the top of Mount Konocti?
