SPRING VALLEY — Two girls were airlifted Monday in Spring Valley where they were thrown from a horse. The girls suffered injuries requiring transport to out-of-county medical facilities via REACH air ambulances.

Northshore Fire Protection District (NFPD) Station 75 Clearlake Oaks medics responded to the scene at Spring Valley Campground on Wolf Creek Road at about 3:20 p.m. CAL FIRE also responded.

According to NFPD, the girls involved in the incident were 11 and 16 years old.

REACH 6, out of Lake County responded and REACH 3, out of Concord, responded to the scene.
