LOWER LAKE — The Lake County Theater Company proudly presents “The Farndale Avenue Housing Estate Townswomen”s Guild Dramatic Society Murder Mystery” written by David McGilivray and Walter Serlin Jr.

Director Timothy Fischer had a big job directing this play, as most of the cast play multiple roles. The challenge has been met by the actors, though. The play within a play showcases the efforts of Mrs. Reese, played by Jenna Radke, to keep her women”s guild dramatic society on track as they go through a plot of murder, mayhem and comedy.

Performances will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, Saturday and again on Sept. 16 and 17 and 2 p.m. Sunday and again on Sept. 18 in Weaver Auditorium at the Lower Lake Schoolhouse Museum.

Tickets cost $15 for reserved, $12 general, with a $2 discount for students, seniors and LCTC members. Tickets may be purchased at Catfish Books in Lakeport, Lower Lake Museum in Lower Lake and Lower Lake Coffee Company in Lower Lake. For more information, call Sue Garrett at 998-0224.
