LAKE COUNTY — Habitat for Humanity Lake County invites the public to celebrate the completion of the 15th Habitat for Humanity home in Lake County.
The home incorporates green building techniques and energy efficiencies including solar panels.
The open house and dedication take place at 11 a.m. Saturday at 4431 Sunset Ave. in Clearlake. All are welcome to join the festivities and meet the homeowners, as well as volunteers who donated time and energy to complete this home. This presents the opportunity to visit the home a community of volunteers, donors and local business supporters came together to help build in an effort to eliminate sub-standard housing for a Lake County family.
Also, for families who are considering applying for a Habitat for Humanity home, it provides an opportunity to view a completed Habitat home. Refreshments will be served.
