NICE — Members of the Lake County Sheriff”s Narcotics Task Force arrested three people at the Len-Lee Trailer Resort in Nice on Sept. 9.
At approximately 7 a.m., narcotics detectives, possessing a search warrant, conducted a search at the residence of John Joseph Norton III.
The search resulted in Norton”s arrest. He was transported to Hill Road Correctional Facility where he was booked for cultivation of marijuana, possession of marijuana, possession of controlled substance paraphernalia and use of a controlled substance.
Also at approximately 7 a.m., another Lake County Sheriff”s narcotics detective contacted two other residents of the trailer resort, who were on probation with a search clause.
Trudy Elizabeth Coleman and George Kendall Kenny were arrested and transported to Hill Road Correctional Facility where they were booked for use of a controlled substance.
The Sheriff”s Narcotics Task Force will continue its efforts to eradicate narcotics from the communities of Lake County and seize the suspected profits of drug trafficking for asset forfeiture whenever possible.
