CLEARLAKE — Clearlake Police were requested in the area of Burns Valley Shopping Center around 11:10 a.m. Wednesday following a report of a possible body. The body was located in a fielded area north of the shopping center.
Lake County Sheriff”s Coroner response was immediately requested with the coroner arriving on scene at approximately noon.
While Clearlake Police Sgt. R. Joseph said he recognized the victim as a local homeless man, official identification is pending notification of next of kin. He said official cause of death is pending autopsy.
