PETALUMA — Camp For A Cure takes place Oct. 23 at Casa Grande High School in Petaluma and ballplayers ages 8-15 are invited to participate.
Since 2004, Camp For A Cure has raised more than $52,000 for the American Cancer Society, the Lupus Foundation of America, and the American Diabetes Association.
Last year”s group of volunteer coaches included more than 35 of the top high school and college coaches in the area as well as professional scouts and players. This year”s staff includes John Goeltz (Sonoma State University), Damon Neidlinger (SRJC), Brandon Morrow, Tommy Everidge and many other minor league players.
