COBB — Sonoma Academy”s Jax Reiff and Katy Lee won their respective races on Wednesday as Lower Lake High School hosted a Coastal Mountain Conference cross country meet at Adams Springs Golf Course.
While Middletown is also using Adams Springs as its home course this season, the runners participating in Wednesday”s meet ran a longer distance — 3 miles — according to Lower Lake coach Laura Hutchinson.
“Middletown ran 2.2 miles, but that”s too short so we designed a longer course,” Hutchinson said. “It went really well and everybody really liked it. It”s beautiful up there. I really appreciate Eddie Mullins (Adams Springs owner) for letting us run there. They shut down the golf course so we can use it.”

Lower Lake”s Zef Roofner finished 16th overall in 21:52 and teammate Cesar Ruiz was 18th in 22:42.
