Regarding Sutter Health”s advertisement in our newspaper stating the RNs of Sutter make $135,000 annually. Nothing is farther from the truth in our community.
My question is, why would Sutter post such an inaccuracy? The RNs of Sutter Lakeside Hospital are currently negotiating a fair contract with the hospital.
This sort of campaigning is a blatant example of mudslinging. Shameful really. The truth is that the RNs are aware of our spiraling economy and want a viable hospital. They are merely requesting the hospital not to take healthcare benefits and not to make cuts to their existing contract.
I believe this is a fair request given these hardworking professionals deserve it. I believe the administration and management of this hospital should be looked at a little more closely. They seem to be a little top heavy in those departments.
Please question this: What are the salaries of the administration?
Now that should be made available to the community.
Instead, Sutter is making these hardworking professionals seem greedy. Who is the greedy?
