I am writing this because of the column by Mandy Feder about the “West Memphis Three.” I support her opinion to the fullest. I listen to different types of metal music and some that is worse, but you don”t see me going around killing people.
I think what she wrote in this column was moving and very informative. What all of those musicians did for them was pretty amazing. I listen to bands like Ozzy and Metallica. I love the music. I also listen to hardcore stuff like Suicide Silence, Chelsea Grin, Carnifex and other death metal artists and I am completely sane and I am a good kid. I am a 17-year-old high school student. I believe that it was a good thing that they were set free because there was no evidence that they did it. I can”t believe people would think that music caused this. I have never heard of music doing anything except for entertaining people. I really enjoyed the column.
