CLEARLAKE — An arraignment hearing was held Tuesday in the case against defendants Kevin Stone, 29, Paul Braden, 21, and Orlando Lopez, 23. The men face multiple counts ranging from murder and attempted murder to assault and other similar crimes in connection a June shooting that left Skylar Rapp, 4, dead and five others injured.
A motion hearing was set for 8:15 a.m. Nov. 15 before Judge Stephen O. Hedstrom in Lake County Superior Court Dept. 4 in Clearlake. A trial readiness conference is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Nov. 28 in Dept. 4 with a calendar call set for 8:15 Dec. 2. A jury trial is tentatively scheduled to begin at 8:15 a.m. Dec. 7 in the same department.
