KELSEYVILLE — The win streak started a little later than Kelseyville High School varsity volleyball coach Donelle McCallister wanted, but she”ll take it.
Behind 13 kills from Jennifer Green and another 11 from Jeannie Johnson, the Kelseyville Knights beat the Middletown Mustangs 23-25, 25-18, 25-20, 28-26 on Thursday night in Kelseyville, the Knights” third straight win in North Central League I play.
Alex Pruett and Ryan Van Housen added four kills and two blocks apiece. Bonnie McCallister had 34 assists and nine digs.

Lower Lake def. Cloverdale
At Lower Lake, Lower Lake went the distance with Cloverdale, winning 25-18, 25-23, 21-25, 23-25, 15-12 in NCL I action.
Adrina Miller had a huge night for the Trojans with 17 kills, three blocks and four aces. Kelsie Shoffeitt added 13 kills and Shadae White and Jessica Wilson each had five kills.
Upper Lake def. Sonoma Academy
At Santa Rosa, Upper Lake outlasted Sonoma Academy 11-25, 29-27, 25-17, 19-25, 15-10 in NCL II play.
Kat Edmonds led the Cougars with 16 kills and four aces. BobbieLynn Collins and Olivia Carter each had seven kills and Amber McQueen had six. Also for the Cougars, Crystal Mendoza had 26 assists and 11 digs, Kelsey Pearl had 22 digs, and Ashley Lovrin finished with 31 digs and two aces.
Boys” soccer
Middletown 6, Clear Lake 0
At Lakeport, the Middletown Mustangs scored all six of their goals in the second half to beat the Clear Lake Cardinals in the season finale for both teams.
It was the first non-forfeit win for the Mustangs this season.
The teams battled to a 0-0 draw earlier this month at Middletown.
Raphael Roy-Labelle had two goals and two assists to power Middletown, and Jesus Garcia added two goals. Eric Lopez and Oscar Rincon also scored. The goal for Rincon, a senior playing in his final game, was the first of his high school career.
Girls” soccer
Kelseyville 1, Lower Lake 0
At Lower Lake, Tori Wayment scored in the second half to lift Kelseyville to a shutout win over Lower Lake in NCL I girls” soccer action.
Standouts for Kelseyville were Shannon Fontana, Sophie Sells and Jessica Gonzalez.
Lower Lake received strong play from Sami Eckhardt, Sarah Fred and Araceli Sepulveda.
