I have never had any regard for the political cartoon Mallard Fillmore by Bruce Tinsley, but the one published on Thursday, really deserves a prize. Mallard states “Herman Cain”s latest poll numbers now indicate that the Mainstream Media may be forced to acknowledge his existence.”
Accordingly, I checked the websites of some of the mainstream media, because I felt that this claim is incorrect. Sure enough, during October, the San Francisco Chronicle, the Santa Rosa Press Democrat and the Sacramento Bee published 113, 20 and about 200 articles, respectively, mentioning Herman Cain.
The N.Y. Times also published a bunch of them on Cain during recent months and I have seen many news reports on Mr. 9-9-9 on various mainstream media TV news programs.
It would be nice if Mr. Tinsley would get his facts straight at least once in a while.
