CLEARLAKE — Clearlake Police Department (CPD) along with Lake County Fire Protection District responded at 1:58 p.m. Wednesday to the 14100 block of Lakeshore Drive following a report of a body floating in the water.
On arrival officers located a body about 10 feet off the shore. Clothing and personal effects were located nearby. The victim was identified as a 58 year-old Clearlake man. His name was withheld pending notification of next of kin. An autopsy will be conducted to determine cause of death. Anyone with information is urged to contact Det. Ryan Peterson at 994-8251.
