LAKE COUNTY — Minor injuries were sustained in a two vehicle collision involving a three-axle dump and a pickup truck around 5:25 p.m. Tuesday. Allan Crynes, 53, of Kelseyville was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol following the collision.

According to California Highway Patrol Clear Lake area Officer Joe Wind, Crynes was traveling eastbound on Pt. Lakeview Road in a 1995 Ford pickup as Steven Anderson, 58, of Middletown was traveling eastbound in the dump truck, which was pulling a trailer loaded with gravel. While negotiating a curve in the roadway, Crynes allegedly crossed over the double-yellow lines where his vehicle collided with the cab of the dump truck. The collision caused the trailer to overturn, spilling gravel on the roadway.

Crynes suffered minor injuries. The incident is being investigated by Officer E. Coddington.
