LOWER LAKE — In its 21st year, Kids 4 Broadway will present Lake County youths ages 7 to 12 performing in “Finding Cinderella,” 2 p.m. Saturday in Weaver Auditorium at the Lower Lake Historic Schoolhouse Museum.
Two young girls are in a park one day and one of them finds a wallet with $900 in it. One girl, Betsy, decides to keep the money and her friend is horrified that she”s not turning it in to the police. Betsy stumbles and hits her head on a park bench; she has a dream sequence where U.S. President Barack Obama, Mother Teresa, Sarah Palin, Cinderella and other famous people or characters have a round table discussion to talk about what her right course of action should be.
According to director Connor Snyder, the production features lots of laughs with a beautiful set; Nancy Stetzer once again created the costumes for the show.
General admission costs $6.50. Admission for children younger than 12 costs $5. For more information about this and other upcoming Kids 4 Broadway productions call 279-4497.
