COBB — A motorcyclist suffered moderate injuries after colliding with a deer in Cobb Wednesday night.
According to a California Highway Patrol news release, the motorcyclist was driving on his friend”s private property in Cobb. It was unknown how fast he was going. A deer ran into his path and collided with the motorcycle. The man was ejected from the motorcycle and sustained a moderate cut to his right hip.
The man was transported via helicopter to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital for treatment. Alcohol is not suspected to be a factor in the collision. The collision is still under investigation.
