CLEARLAKE OAKS — The service of two outstanding arrest warrants of David Edward Green, 52, of Clearlake Oaks resulted in arrest and additional charges against Green, according to Lake County Sheriff”s Narcotics Task Force (NTF).
The NTF contacted Green at approximately 3:15 p.m. Nov. 1 at his Highway 20 residence in Clearlake Oaks to serve him with two outstanding, narcotics-related arrest warrants. NTF said when Green answered the door, he initially spoke with undercover detectives but then shut the door and ran back into the house. Additional detectives entered the home and located Green in a computer room. He was subsequently arrested without further incident.
During search of the home pursuant to Green”s probation terms, narcotics detectives allegedly located methamphetamine and narcotics paraphernalia in the living room. Further search of the home allegedly revealed more methamphetamine, meth pipes and other narcotics paraphernalia in a bedroom. Narcotics sales packaging materials and digital scales were also allegedly found concealed in two duffel bags thought to belong to Green.
Green was arrested for possession of a controlled substance for sales, possession of narcotics paraphernalia, felony violation of his probation, and two narcotics-related arrest warrants. He was transported and booked into Lake County Jail where he remains in custody.
