LAKEPORT — A Nice man accused of stabbing two people at the Lakeport Shell gas station in June pleaded not guilty Monday to all charges stemming from the incident.

Ronald James Blesio, 34, remains in custody and faces six felonies ? four counts of assault with a deadly weapon and two counts of battery against a person causing serious bodily injury ? for the June 12 incident.

The Lakeport Police Department sought Blesio since the early-morning stabbing, but he eluded local authorities until Oct. 23, when a Lake County Sheriff”s Office sergeant located him during a traffic stop in Kelseyville.

Defense counsel Jacob Zamora informed the court Monday that Blesio pleaded not guilty to the six felonies and denied any special allegations in the case.

Judge Andrew S. Blum scheduled the preliminary hearing for Dec. 5 at 1:30 p.m. in Department 2.
