It simply amazes me how the liberals always manage to blame FOX News for example,
Deb Baumann”s letter appearing on Nov. 3, among others, for the ills of their liberal world, I only have one question. Why is FOX News No. 1? Could it be the majority of the people are tired of the dribble put out by the likes of MSNBC? Or the fake letter about George Bush put out by Dan Rather? That was some real journalism and he still suffers from “Bush deranged Syndrome” to this day. So, to all of you liberals who hate corporate America and FOX News, I”ll bet you own a car, have a TV and a phone, and can”t do without them, welcome to corporate America. Then, cry me a different tune, like welcome to what made America great.
I was in Canada 10 years ago and the only national news at that time was CNN. Its reporting of the Iraq War almost made me sick after listening to that garbage. I was sure glad to get back home to California.
And as for Occupy Wall Street: If you are a peaceful demonstrator, explain to me why you have to wear a hoody, bandana and dark glasses? At best, this group is very ill-defined with little to naught defined goals, who disrupt businesses. Some businesses have reported 85-percent losses. The cost to us the taxpayer, millions of dollars in extra police and infrastructure.
Let me ask you as a taxpayer, how much longer are you going to put up with it? And don”t tell me that just because you live in Lake County, it doesn”t affect you. How about all the overtime we had to pay all of those CHP officers? I would just love to see how a bunch of protesters could shut down the Port of Oakland without Homeland Security.
The FBI and the Attorney General would be all over you if you were not the darling movement of the left. What did this accomplish and did it solve a problem? Quite honestly it has accomplished nothing but cause the everyday working stiff a day”s pay.
Like the comedian Ron White said, “You can”t fix stupid!”
If you think CEOs are overpaid, then most of those companies are traded publicly. Go online, form a coalition of like-minded stockholders, vote as a block and quit wasting my tax dollars. Don”t think you are a stockholder? How about your 401K or similar; you do have a voice.
