As the leaves begin to fall and most of us begin the seemingly endless job of raking leaves, take an extra minute and please use your green waste receptacle.
We can”t begin to tell you how many yard maintenance companies, business owners and homeowners we see just blowing their yard debris out into the street. It”s not up to the City of Lakeport to clean up your leaves.
You all know who you are, so show that you care and use your mandatory weekly garbage collection receptacle instead of littering our streets.
