The judge is right on, in regard to Glenn Neasham. Yes, Mr. Neasham has a nice personality and is a very convincing speaker. I attended one of his dinners. The prime rib was very good.
Afterward he gave his speech stating how great an opportunity it was to purchase this annuity.
I am 84 years old and there were several people my age at the meeting who were impressed. I talked to Mr. Neasham and made an appointment at his office.
He was very forceful and made me feel like a fool when I did not take his offer.
What happens is, you give Mr. Neasham the money and it is tied up. You never see it again.
If you have a business failure or you have a stroke and need help, you are out of luck. Your money is tied up.
Mr. Neasham has made his commission, about 10 percent of $175,000. That amounts to $17,500. A nice piece of change for a few hours work.
This is greed, plain and simple. Mr. Neasham should spend his four years in jail.
