FORESTVILLE — Even with three starters out of action with ankle injuries, the Middletown Mustangs managed to notch their first win of the season, 40-27, over the El Molino Lions in non-league junior varsity girls” basketball action Tuesday in Forestville.
Allegra Macedo”s double-double of 11 points and 13 rebounds led the Mustangs (1-2) while Ashley Hart added 10 points and eight rebounds.
“She plays all over the place for us,” Middletown coach Anthony Bazzano said of Macedo, who is nursing a leg injury. “She played great.”
Middletown hosts Upper Lake Thursday.
