LAKEPORT — A judge ruled Monday a Nice man would be held to answer for the charges against him for allegedly stabbing two people at the Shell gas station on South Main Street.
Judge Richard C. Martin made his ruling after a preliminary hearing at the Lake County Courthouse, according to court records.
Ronald James Blesio, 34, remains in custody at the Lake County Jail and will have to stand trial for two counts of battery causing serious bodily injury and four counts of assault with a deadly weapon.
Authorities allege Blesio stabbed two men during a fight at the Lakeport gas station around 1:30 a.m. on June 12, and then remained at large until spotted by a Lake County Sheriff”s sergeant during a traffic stop in Kelseyville on Oct. 23.
Blesio has pleaded not guilty to all six felonies and denied several special allegations in the case. His next court appearance is set for Dec. 19 at 8:15 a.m. in Department 3.
