HOLLYWOOD — The producers for the All Indie Music Awards have announced that Northern California”s teenage “band of brothers,” Cheating Daylight, has been nominated in two categories for its 2012 red carpet award show, to be held on Feb. 10 in Hollywood.
The pop/rock quintet is nominated in the categories of “Rock Artist of the Year” and “Pop Artist of the Year” for the fan-driven All Indie Music Awards, and the public can vote at www.aimusicawards.com/#!vote.
The All Indie Music Award Show provides a musical platform to provide recognition and awards to the best unsigned and independent artists from around the world, as voted on by the fans during Grammy Week. The red carpet event will be held at the legendary Key Club in Hollywood and will be streamed live, in HD around the globe.
The teenage band also recently received its first industry award and was named the 2011 Power Pop “Band of the Year” at the 2011 Los Angeles Music Awards, where the band performed live at the prestigious red carpet event, held at the historic Avalon Ballroom, in Hollywood.
Rainbo Records also announced that Cheating Daylight”s song, “Photographs Don”t Lie,” was one of 14 songs selected from 100,000 submissions by artists worldwide, to appear on the legendary manufacturer”s compilation CD, “The Best of 2011.”
Cheating Daylight is comprised of Jesse Crosson, 17, on vocals, guitars and keyboards; Jacob Gill, 16, on vocals and guitar; Kyle Crosson, 15, on lead vocals; Connor Gill, 12, on vocals and bass guitar; and Jaden Crosson, 12, on drums.
