How is it that Derik Navarro, a former peace officer who served the public, gets off with four months in jail and not having to register as a sex offender? Someone like this should be prosecuted to a fuller extent as they are supposed to serve and protect the people. So now he will be free in four months to do what he wants with no record.
No wonder no one trusts the police departments. They get away with breaking the law and get a slap on the wrist. What kind of example does this set for peace officers?
