COBB — A Clearlake woman was airlifted to Santa Rosa following a solo-vehicle crash on Bottle Rock Road Wednesday afternoon.
Nova Wilsonfox, 23, was driving a 2000 Honda Accord northbound on the road near the Spring Hill Road intersection around 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).
For unknown reasons, the car slid off of the road and then struck a tree, the CHP said.
Emergency personnel reportedly found Wilsonfox unconscious with an apparent head injury. She was flown by REACH to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital, the CHP said.
The crash forced one-way traffic control in the area for about an hour, the CHP said.
The incident remains under investigation. Authorities do not believe alcohol was a factor.
