LAKEPORT — City police arrested four people late Friday night for allegedly having burglary tools and committing other crimes.

The Lakeport Police Department (LPD) made the discovery after a sergeant spotted a vehicle near the end of Craig Avenue in Lakeport Friday at 10:20 p.m., according to LPD Sgt. Kevin Odom.

“The vehicle appeared to be suspicious to the sergeant based on the commercial area, time of day and recent burglary reports in the area,” Odom said.

The officer conducted a traffic stop and found four occupants, two men and two women, all Santa Rosa residents, according to Odom.

Devices that could be used for thefts, such as keys, punch tools and radios, along with suspected methamphetamine were allegedly located in the vehicle, Odom said.

The driver, Francisco S. Cervantes, 30, was allegedly unlicensed and on parole for car theft. Odom said one passenger was a convicted felon on probation for burglary while another was recently released from parole for possessing stolen property.

All four occupants were arrested and booked into the Hill Road Correctional Facility.

Cervantes faces felony charges of parole violation and possession of a controlled substance as well as misdemeanor counts of driving without a license and possessing burglary tools.

Leslie D. Spadoni, 34, was charged with possessing a controlled substance and having burglary tools.

Samantha J. Sullivan, 21, faces a misdemeanor charge of having burglary tools and a felony count of probation violation.

Celeste A. Delasantos, 32, was arrested for possessing narcotics, a controlled substance and burglary tools. She could face another charge for allegedly trying to sneak prohibited items into the jail.
